Alexandra Golf Club, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex.

Still searching for information regarding this club, the postcard below (A.H.J Series) is pre WW1. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks to Kevin Clark for providing the following information – The postcard (below) purporting to be the Alexandra Golf Club is, in fact, the Alexandra Yacht Club. The Yacht Club purchased the building in 1880's before which it was a private residence. The building was demolished in 2014 after being gutted in a fire. Another iconic building lost forever. In 1924 the yacht club founded the Alexandra Yacht Club Golfing Circle based at Thorpe Hall Golf Club, and it is still in existence.

Further to the above. It seems that it was recognised as a golf club in its own right on the images below. The hallmark on the brooch is for 1908 and the maker is WHH for William Hair Haseler.
