Result of a ladies match between the Aveland club and Belton Park played on the Aveland course at Horbling on Friday 8 March 1895. The competition was played twice round the nine hole course. The weather was fine and the greens were in excellent condition.

The following game was played in March 1895. The lady members of the club played their fourth monthly competition on Monday 18 March on the course at Horbling. Mrs Blasson (scratch) of Billingborough and Mrs Gleed (4) of (Donington) tied with a net score of 60 for the nine hole course. The result of the play-off; Mrs Gleed, 65-4-61; Mrs Blasson, 64 scratch.
Result of the gent's monthly medal played in March 1895; Capt E Smith, 85; B H D Leigh, 87.
The ladies played their monthly competition on Easter Monday in April 1895. Mrs B Smith of Horbling set a new course record for the ladies with a score of 54 for nine holes, the previous best score was 57. The trophy, however, was won by Miss Gerty Blasson, who had a score of 60-7-53.
The gents medal for April was played on the Folkingham links on the 8 April 1895; Ben Smith, 96 scratch; Mr Leigh, 100 scratch; Mr Edward Smith, 105 scratch; Mr A G Fletcher, 108 scratch; Mr R Gleed, 120-8-112; Dr Kynaston 125-8-117.

p>The monthly prize for July 1895 resulted in a tie between Mr Edward Smith and Mr Leigh with scores of 84. In the play-off Mr Leigh won at the first hole.

On Monday 2 December 1895 the ladies played for a new subscription medal, an 18 hole competition, the monthly winner was also to receive a new silver afternoon tea spoon, result; Mrs Edward Smith, 118 scratch; Mrs Blasson, 120 scratch; Miss G Blasson, 132-7-125. The December monthly competition for the silver cup was won by Edward Smith, 87 scratch.
