As can be seen below the nine-hole course was laid out on three fields belonging to Myrtle Bank Farm with a yearly rent of £12.

In January 1934 the Woodhouse Golf Club held their annual ball in the Endowed Schoolroom, Woodhouse. Jack Cowley and his band provided the music, Mr Owen Lister was M.C., Mr J Hardcastle was in charge of arrangements.

Below is the result of a ladies match played at Woodhouse against Hallowes  in June 1936.

A four-ball bogey competition was played over the Bank Holiday at the end of the month, result as follows; Miss Clarke & W Noble. 5up; Mrs Bridgewater & C Lamb, 4up; Mrs Lamb & F Parkin, 3up; Miss D Hardcastle & F Camden, 1up; Mrs Sharrard & L A Williams, all square; Miss J B & S M Hardcastle, 2down; Mrs E & J Hardcastle, 3down; Mrs Parkin & J Harrison, 6down; Miss Thomas & W Hague, 6down; Miss Ball & E Whiteley, 7down.

In April 1939 Mr J Hardcastle, hon. secretary, reported that E B Shepherd, a club member whose handicap was 9, went round the Woodhouse course in 67 gross. He reached the turn in 34, and had only one 2, at the twelfth.

It was reported In January 1944 that the Woodhouse Golf Club was to be disbanded.
