Frodsham Golf Club. (1890s - 2022)
The club first appeared in the 1890s on a course to the east of Manley Road, it continued to be shown at this location until 1924.
The later club was founded in 1990.
It was reported in November 2022 that the later course had permanently closed and was to become a “Wooded haven for wildlife.”
The Ordnance Survey Map below is from the 1890s and shows the Manley Road golf course. The clubhouse is also marked to the north.
Result of a competition played on the Frodsham links in March 1908.

In February 1913 a presentation was made by members of the club to Dr Stenhouse Williams in recognition of his valuable work for the club.

In September 1999 the club championship went to Dave Reid; runner-up, Andrew Pickering. A Mixed greensome was won by Phil Downey and Madeline Thompson; runners-up, Elaine and John Herd.
