Taunton Vale Golf Club, Creech Heathfield, Taunton. (1991 - 2014)
Founded in 1991.
Taunton Vale had two courses, the eighteen-hole Charlton measuring 6,234 yards, and a nine-hole academy course called the Durston which measured 2,004 yards. The club professional was Martin Keitch.
Taunton Vale Golf Club was stated as being the most accessible club in Somerset. It was situated about five-minute drive from either junctions 24 or 25 of the M5. The Vale provided all the facilities expected of the modern golf club, including a practice chipping area, putting green and a 14-bay driving range. The club comprised of 27 holes of parkland, set amid 156 acres of gently rolling countryside. The clubhouse had two bars and an attractive dining room.
The club and course closed on Sunday 30th November 2014.

SAD NEWS FOR TAUNTON VALE GOLF CLUB.
The Owners have announced this morning that the Golf Club has been sold - its been confirmed that the new owners will be converting the land back to agricultural.
It is with regret therefore, that we have to inform you all that the Club will be closing its doors for the last time on SUNDAY 30th NOVEMBER 2014.
The Club wishes to thank the Members for their support over the years and again to the staff for their loyalty.
