Backwell Golf Club, North Somerset. (1890 - WW1)
A privately owned course that appeared during the 1890s and was owned by the Robinson family who ran a renowned paper manufacturing company in Bristol.
Result of a match against Bristol and Clifton Golf Club played in March 1897.
Just before WW1 Nailsea Golf Club took over the course.
