Dunmore Golf Club, Co Galway. (1914 - 1920s)
The club first appeared just prior to WW1, it continued into the 1920s.
The secretary in 1914 was Mr T I Norman. A nine-course on hilly and sandy ground situated at Quarter, just outside Dunmore. It was described as a “natural but rather difficult course, well drained, with natural bunkers”. The course was ten miles from Truam.
The current Dunmore Demesne course opened in 1998.
