Fethard Golf Club, Co. Tipperary. (WW1)

At a meeting held at the end of January 1914 it was decided to establish a golf club for Fethard.

The nine-hole course was about one mile from the railway station. Mr Cyril L Baker was appointed secretary.

Following WW1 there was a renewal of interest in the golf club with a considerable influx of new members. Thursday was “club day” with the lady members taking it in turns to serve the tea.

Nothing further found regarding Fethard Golf Club.
