Ardvreck Castle Golf Course, Sutherland. (Pre-WW1)

Prior to WW1 a nine-hole golf course was laid out in the vicinity of Ardvreck Castle and Calder House. The course was designed by Eric Chaplin, grandson of the Duke of Sutherland. James Mackenzie maintained the course and also collected the money from visitors who paid a green fee of one shilling a day.
