Invergordon Golf Club, Highland. (1893 - WW2)

Founded in 1893.

The course in 1896 was at Balblair (see match result below against Dingwall.) It eventually moved to a seasonal course at Rosskeen.

Following WW1 the course was situated on Saltburn Road on land now occupied by the Invergordon Distillery. This land was required for the building of Nissen huts at the time of WW2.

The club moved to its current location on the site of the former Invergordon Castle following WW2.

At a meeting in January 1893 Mr Brown, V.S., was elected captain of the club.
