Kames/Mouse Valley Golf Club, East Lothian. 

The Mouse Valley course opened in July 1993. 

The Kames Country Club had two 18-hole courses; the main golf course had a par of 69 and was known as “The Mouse Valley Course” the other course was known as ‘The Kames Course’ and this was laid out in 1999/2000.  

In addition to the golf courses there was a purpose built clubhouse and driving range. Martin Goldie was the club professional.

The Mouse Valley course was a championship course and reputed to be one of the longest courses in Lanarkshire measuring 6,410 yards from the back tees.

Alan McPherson is playing all of Scotland’s golf course to raise funds for Cancer Research. Alan played the courses prior to closure. Information on the former course can be found on:-
