Little Chalfont Golf Club, Lodge Lane. (1981 -2006)
The course opened in 1981.
A pretty nine-hole parkland course with mature trees, water hazard, undulating fairways with good golfing turf. Clubhouse and bar. The course had a total yardage of 5,752 yards for the eighteen holes, the par was 70 for men, the ladies course was 5,532 yards with a par of 70. Designed by James M Dunne.
In 1982 the secretary was P Garrard, club membership 450. Visitors' fees £5.
In the mid 1980s the secretary was J M Dunne (continued until 2000s.) The professional was John O'Leary. Course records; amateur - D Brown, 76; professional - D Elliott, 68.
In December 1985 Peter Gibbins was appointed professional. In 1987 he created a new course record of 67.
