The course opened in May 1925.
In 1930 the secretary was A L Morgan. The professional was W C Beecham and the green-keeper W Blower. 18-hole course, with a membership of 250. Course records, amateur Captain I G Elias 69 and professional W C Beecham 67. Visitors’ fees were 2/6 a day, 3/6 at weekend and Bank Holiday. The station at Uxbridge was 1 ½ miles away.

The competition for the Captain's Prize was played in June 1933 and was won by A Kelly, 76-12-64. The Ladies' competition finished in a tie between Mrs E H Bamford and Mrs L Pearce.

In May 1935 Miss Betty Wyatt holed in one on the 157 yard thirteenth hole.
Industrial development begins on the golf course in October 1935.
It was reported in the Uxbridge & W. Drayton Gazette in August 1949 that the "Uxbridge Flint Brick Company would turn out 25,000,000 bricks a year towards the reconstruction of Britain. From the gravel pit - a lake of 30 acres - where the Woodlands Park golf course used to be, to the stacking yard where the finished product, 1,000 bricks at a time, are mechanically loaded on to lorries."
