Kingstand Golf & Country Club, Leicester Forest East. (1991 - 2013)
The club was founded in 1991. It was a nine-hole public parkland course with water hazards, designed by S Chenis. There was also a 16-bay floodlit driving range.
In the mid 1990s to 2004 the professional was Simon Sherrit. The nine-hole course measured 5,380 yards and had a SSS of 66.
The club closed in 2013. It is presently being used as grazing land with a possibility of a later housing development.
