Stapleford Park Golf Course, Melton Mowbray. (2000 – 2020)

Founded in 2000.

It was reported in March 2020 that the 6,944-yard, par 73 course, which was designed by Donald Steel and first opened in 2000 would be closing in October. The course was set in 500 acres of Capability Brown landscaped grounds. It had hosted several European Senior Tour events during its history, and had Sam Torrance as its attached touring professional. A spokesman cited “declining membership and visitor numbers” as the reason for its closure.
