Result of the June 1895 monthly medal; Major C A Swan, 120-25-95; R H Ferguson, 89-10-99; J Bowes, 102 scratch. The winner of the ladies’ competition was Mrs Edward Smith of Horbling, who went round in 144 scratch. No other returns were handed in.

In July 1895 the Rev. C P Disbrowe resigned as secretary due to ill health and was relaced by R H Ferguson.

The Ordnance Survey Map below from the early 1900s shows the are around the Vine Hotel, location of the earlier golf course. The Skegness Golf Club course had been abandoned by this time and the Seacroft Golf Club had recently been founded. The clubhouse of the “new” Seacroft Golf Club course can be seen at the bottom of the map.
