West Suffolk Golf Centre, Beck Row, Bury St Edmunds. (1997 – 2020)
The family run golf centre started in a modest way with a nine-hole pay and play course in 1997. It eventually evolved into an 18-hole course and was affiliated to the SGU.
It was reported in October 2019 that the family had decided to close the facility for the winter following three excessively dry years which had taken its toll on the golf course. It was hoped that the course would re-open in spring 2020.
After much deliberation the family decided to permanently close the course in 2020.
