West Bromwich Golf Club. (1895 - 1897)
Founded in 1895.
The original 9-hole course was opened on 11th May 1895 in the grounds of Churchfields, West Bromwich, the home of Mr Joshua Fellows. A house in Church Vales was used as the clubhouse. The club had a membership of 35 gents and 15 ladies.
The club moved to, and changed its name to Sandwell Park, the first ball being struck there on 25th December 1897.
