North Oxford Golf Club, Banbury Road. (1907 – 2025)
Founded 1907.
18-hole parkland course at Cutteslowe.
The club and course closed in October 2025. The land was to be used for housing development.
The course opened at Christmas 1907.
The first monthly competition was played in April 1908.

Leading scores in the President’s Challenge Cup played in October 1919; J C Stimson, 80-10-70; Lt.-Col. H C Seton, 89-15-74; R Claridge, 85-9-76. The winner of the Prescott Penny Challenge Cup was Lt.-Col. H Seton with a net score of 73.
Oxfordshire Weekly Times Wednesday 16 April 1924 – “Various improvements are being carried out on the North Oxford Golf Course, with the object of making a pleasant course even more pleasant to golfers in that part of town. The fairways and greens last week-end were a credit to the club management.”

It was reported in September 1932 that the clubhouse had been broken into for the sixth time in five years. The thieves drinking whisky from jugs before leaving with several bottles and £5 worth of cigarettes.
