It was reported in November 1893 that the Steeple Aston Golf Club held their first medal day on Thursday 23rd November 1893. Miss Cartwright won the ladies medal and the Rev. H Cartwright and H Bradshaw tied for the gentlemen’s.
Thursday 28th December 1893 was medal day for the Steeple Aston Golf Club. The gentlemen's competition was won by Dr H Holmes, and the ladies' Miss M Cartwright.
In January 1894 Miss M Cartwright won the ladies' medal and H Holmes the gent's.
In February 1894 Miss M Cartwright won the ladies' medal and Rev. J Holdover the gent's.

In November 1894 the ladies' medal was won by Miss L Bradshaw. Dr Holmes won the gentlemen's.
The professional in 1894/5 was J Belcher. The course was a ¼ mile from Heyford GWR station.
In October 1895 the club held its Open Meeting.
In July 1896 the Steeple Aston Estate, which included the golf course, was offered for sale
