Plowden Golf Club, Shropshire. (1908 - WW1)
The club first appeared in 1908.
The secretary was Roger Plowden, Lydbury North. The family where the local landowners at Plowden Hall, near the village called Plowden, which had a railway station on the Bishop’s Castle railway. The club played matches against Wellington Golf Club.
