Severn Meadows Golf Club, Highley, Bridgnorth. (1990 - 2011)
The course opened in 1990 with a nine-hole course.
The later 18-hole challenging parkland/woodland course with spectacular views, numerous bunkers, water hazards and undulating fairways. The River Severn and the Severn Valley Railway were prominent features of the course. The River Severn came in to play particularly on the par 5, 15th hole.
Facilities included fully licensed bar serving light snacks to hot meals and buffets, a function room overlooking the Severn Valley and golf course. Serving professional’s at the club included Martin Payne and Noel Woodman.
