Newport Golf Club, Shropshire. (1920s - 1937)

The annual meeting of the Newport Golf Club was held in April 1926, Mr R P Liddle in the chair. The accounts showed a debit of £14/19s/3d. Mr Liddle was re-elected president; A Lawrence, vice-president; E W Cleasby, hon. treasurer; W Toft, hon. secretary; Dr Pooler, captain; Miss Liddle, lady captain; Mrs Toft, lady secretary.
