In May 1947 A A Cockerfield (scratch) was taking part in the Midland section of the British Green-keepers Association spring meeting at Harborne. 

From 1952 to its demise in the late 1950s  the address was Moor Court Golf Club, c/o Thomas Bolton & Sons Ltd, Froghall, Staffordshire. The course SSS was 35. Visitors’ fees were  2/-day.
