Report from the Rugby Advertiser Saturday 24th August 1912 - "DUNSMORE GOLF CLUB - The committee of the Dunsmore Golf Club, formed in Rugby in 1908, have been successful in securing some additional fields belonging to Eastlands Farm, which will be used for lengthening and improving the present nine-hole course. The growing popularity of this game in Rugby last year was clearly shown by the number of new members. Previously the membership had to be limited to 90 playing members, but the new course, with the increased length of holes will easily accommodate many more players. One feature of the course is the absence of crossings, and the total length is 2,000 yards. The course will be open for play about the middle of September."
In 1913/4 the secretary was A Stuart Ross. The season ran from September to May. A 9-hole course with a membership of 120. Entry fees were 10/6 and subs £1/1/0. Visitors' fees were 1/- a day, Saturday 1/6. Sunday play was not allowed. The station at Rugby was 1 mile away.
