Report from the Birmingham Daily Gazette Wednesday 3 November 1920. “NEW GOLF COURSE – The members of Gay Hill Golf Club have acquired a new 18-hole course at Hollywood, adjoining the Alcester Road. The old course was at a disadvantage owing to its somewhat difficult situation for easy access to businessmen.”
The trophy below is marked; Gay Hill Golf Club, President's Cup (Replica), Ladies - Runner-Up 1931, Mrs Munro.
On 1 January 2014 the Gay Hill Golf Club changed its name and it became Hollywood Golf Club, it's still going strong at the same location.
