Report from the Birmingham Daily Gazette Wednesday 3rd November 1920. “NEW GOLF COURSE – The members of Gay Hill Golf Club have acquired a new 18-hole course at Hollywood, adjoining the Alcester Road. The old course was at a disadvantage owing to its somewhat difficult situation for easy access to businessmen.”
