In December 1903 the Ipsley Club played a club match at Droitwich, the home team were the victors by five matches to one. The Ipsley team players were; W S Whitehouse, F V Millward, the only winner on the Ipsley team, H S Clarke, Canon Newton, E E Browning and R R D Whitehouse.
The following is from the 1905 Nisbets Golf Yearbook; Instituted, 1890; Membership of 40; hon. secretary and captain – J H Whitehouse; green-keeper, W French; entrance fee nil and subs £1/1s; nine-holes. The course is on the old Ipsley racecourse. All the hazards are natural and comprise of a brook and a river.

In 1906 the secretary was J H Whitehouse, Ipsley Court, near Redditch and the professional W French. A 9-hole course. Visitors on introduction were allowed 2 days free then 2/6 a week. The station at Redditch was 2 miles away. Local hotels were the Unicorn and the Royal.

The Ipsley course existed between 1891 and 1908 and was situated where the Arrow Valley Lake is today.
