Eaglescliffe Golf Club, Coatham Stob Farm Course. (1914 – 1927)
The first nine-hole course was at Coatham Stob Farm.
The current course opened in 1927.

From the Evening Despatch Monday 30 August 1915 –“W H Brownhill, professional to the Eaglescliffe Golf Club, Stockton-on-Tees, has been appointed to a similar post at the Mid-Somerset Golf Club, Langport.”
It was reported in February 1920 that Roy Livingstone, Eaglescliffe, holed in one at the 120 yard seventh hole. This was the first hole-in-one recorded since the course opened in 1914.
Report below on the annual meeting in January 1923. The following officers were elected; Sir T P Blake, Bart., president; A McLean, hon. secretary; S P Bowen, captain; C E Holt, vice-captain.
