The annual meeting was held in the St Cuthbert's Parish Room in June 1914, George Bell, Heatherslea, presided. The report submitted by the hon. secretary, Wilf E Allison, showed the finances to be very satisfactory. The income (including the balance of 5s/9d from the previous year) amounted to £154/14s/4d; green fees amounted to £104/7s; members' subscriptions came to £35/11s/6d. Expenditure had been £143/14s/8d, leaving a balance of £10/19s/8d. The membership was 38. The president, J R Blackett-Ord, J.P., was re-elected; vice-presidents - Major Walton, George Bell and R D Holt; treasurer, W R Raistrick, replaced J Thompson, retired; H Stephenson was appointed secretary on the retirement of Wilf E Allison.
The first of a series of six monthly competitions took place in May 1939, result; Miss D Mather and H L Elliott, 84-20-64; Mrs Reid and Percy S Fairlamb, 88-24-64; Miss N Moore and G Vickers, 91-21-68.
Member of the Allendale Golf Club held their dance and whist tournament at the Deneholme Rooms, Allendale, in November 1939. Play was supervised by Messrs. W Watson, H Elliot and P S Fairlamb, Mrs S W Wallhead, presented prizes; first and guessing to Mesdames Jewers and M Robson and Messrs. W Wilson and J Dickie.
In 1947 Golfer's Handbook the secretary was W Watson, Lloyds Bank House, Allendale and the greenkeeper H Stephenson. A nine-hole course with a Par of 64 and SSS of 65. Amateur course record holder was T Edgars, 68. Visitors’ fees were 2/- a day.
1950/51 - Secretary, E A Holt, Lloyds Bank House; green-keeper, G Vickers; Visitors' fees 3s a day.
1955-57 - Secretary, T M Watson, Lloyds Bank House; green-keeper, I Hunter; Nine-holes totalled 4,342 yards SSS 66.
1960/61 - Secretary, S Braidford, Midland Bank House; professional and green-keeper, J T Routledge, Membership of 100.
In the 1970s and early 1980s the secretary was A Craney. The club membership was 110. The nine-holes had a total yardage of 4,408 yards with a SSS of 62. Visitors' fees, £4, £6 at weekend.
In September 1981 nine-year old Mark Rogers had to ask his dad, Bob, to buy a round of drinks after he holed in one at the 137 yard eighth hole. He used his dad's two wood to get his ace in what was only his third game of golf.
In 1991 the secretary was J C Hall. 9-holes total yardage of 4,488 yards and SSS of 63. Visitor’s fees £4.
The club moved to its current location at High Studdon in 1992.
