The club first appeared in 1991.

An 18-hole course in the village of Stutton. The course measured 5,632 yards with a SSS of 69. Designed by Bill Brodigan/Townend. Cock Beck was the main feature of the parkland/meadowland course and came into play on 8 of the holes. The professional was Graham Thompson

There was much anger amongst the 350 members when the club closed in 2003.

The members were advised in a letter on 1st October saying “the club is closing and will no longer be a course after being sold to two separate parties. Please clear your clubs out by 31 December.”
