In 1981, 1988 and 1991 the secretary was H Kershaw; membership of 120; the course measured 4,108 yards with a SSS of 60; amateur course record 64 – J Whitehouse and J Turner; visitors, £1 (£2).
In the late 1990s it was listed as the Painthorpe House Golf & Country Club it also states that the club was founded in 1961. The nine-hole course measured 4,548 yards with a SSS of 62; visitors, £6 (£8 week-ends).
In 2004 the nine-hole pay as you play undulating parkland course measuring a total of 4,548 yards with a par and SSS of 62.
In 2006 the secretary was T J Mead; membership of 180; nine-holes measured 4,506 yards, SSS 62; visitors £7 (£8).
The course closed in 2007.
