Lyme Park Golf Course, Disley. (1900s)
Lyme Park is a large estate located south of Disley. In the 1900s a private golf course was laid out on the estate.
The estate is now owned and managed by the National Trust.

The golf course was beloved of the family. Golf featured heavily in the life of the Leghs at Lyme. The course was laid out over Cage Hill and Turfhouse Meadow. Some features of the former course can still be made out. Rabbit holes on Cage hill were a constant problem.
