Sutton Hall Golf Club, Sutton Weaver, Runcorn. (1995 – 2021)
It was reported in August 2021 that closure was threatened despite the club signing up lifetime members. Sutton Hall Golf Club owners wrote to members, acknowledging the shocking news but wanted to reiterate that it was only a proposal at that time, which needed to go through a “complex planning procedure to reach fruition.”
The Golf Club is now listed as permanently closed (2024).
