A 9-hole course that was beautifully situated with natural hazards, consisting of mounds, hedges, roads and a pond. Stations at Mottram in Longdendale and Broadbottom 1 mile away.
December 1907 monthly handicap competition (bogey score 80) result; G Evill, 108-19-89; T Roscoe, 112-18-94; O Jackson, 133-15-98. The following also returned cards; H A Costobadie, G Ogden, Rev J W Fairhurst, Mrs Costobadie and Miss Awburn.

In 1914 the secretary was G Ogden, Derbyshire View, Broadbottom, Lancashire. There was a membership of 70. The entrance fee was £1/1/0 and subs £1/11/6. Visitors’ fees were 1/- a day and 2/6 a week. Sunday play was not allowed.
From 1923 to its closure in the late 1920s the secretary was H Chapman, Hill End, Mottram in Longdendale, Cheshire. Telephone number 6. Club membership was 60.
