Winsford & Middlewich Golf Club, Cheshire. (1903 - 1930s)
In September 1903 a meeting of golf enthusiasts was held and it was decided to form the Winsford & Middlewich Golf Club. About fifty people had already pledged to become members. It was also decided to invite Sir John Brunner M.P., to become the first President of the club.
The club reportedly closed in 1913.
It actually reappeared following WW1 and continued in to the 1930s.
Location of Winsford golf course. The area has now been completely built over.
