Childwall Golf Club, Childwall Hall Course, Liverpool. (1922 - 1937)
In 1922 the club obtained land at Childwall Hall and a course of 14-holes was laid out. It was extended to 18-holes in the mid 1920s.
Competition played in April 1926.

The death was announced in November 1929 of Arthur Pollard, a well known Liverpool sportsman, and for may years secretary of Childwall Golf Club.

An exhibition match was played on the Childwall Hall Course on Wednesday 16 July 1930. The players were; W H Davies (Wallasey), W H Kenyon (West Lancs), J Bond (West Lancs Ladies), W Southall (Childwall). During the match W H Davies holed in one at the 135 yard seventh hole.
The sudden death was reported in October 1931 of William Southall the 42 year old Childwall professional.
Harry Large appointed professional in December 1931.

In the final for the captain's prize in August 1933 E W Parry beat J S Johnson by 6 and 5.

In June 1936 the prize presented by the captain, George W Robertson, was won by L B Myerscough who beat J B Petrie by 7 and 6.
In 1937 there was a dispute regarding the rental of the land and the club moved to a site in Gateacre.
In 1939 James Braid laid out the new Childwall golf course, the current home of Childwall Golf Club. The clubs early history is based on the Woolton Hall Golf Club (see entry for Woolton Hall)
