Burghfield Golf Course, Reading. (1990s – 2017)
The nine-hole course first appeared in the 1990s.
Thanks to Richard Anderson for informing us of the closure of the Burghfield course and for the following information – “A nine-hole course at Burghfield Bridge between Reading and the M4, measured 2499 yards off the white tees, par 35. The course was run by Noelkarn Leisure Ltd., the company was established in 1978 but I believe the course was not created until the 1990s at the earliest. I never played it myself, but the very open and compact nature of the course can be seen on the Google Map below. The course closed in 2017”.
