Kent County Golf Club, North Cray. (1908 - WW1)
It was reported in December 1908 that Viscount Hardinge had been elected a Vice-President of the Kent County Golf Club.
The following entry appears in the '1909-1910' Golfing Annual; 1907 - Kent County Golf Club, formerly North Kent Golf Club, 18 holes at North Cray. The club house being the old North Cray Mansion. A separate 9-hole course for ladies".
It would seem therefore that some folk banded together and bailed out the North Kent Golf Club (see separate entry on the website).
It's assumed that the Kent County club closed at the time of WW1 and was not reformed.
