Minster-on-Sea Golf Club, Borstal Hall Course, Sheppey. (1913 - 1925)
Founded in 1913/4 when the secretary was J W Blake, Tyrelcote, Minster-on-Sea. The professional was Ronald Ramuz. A 9-hole course at Borstal Hall with a membership of 32. Entry fees were £1/1/0 and the subs £2/2/0, members outside Sheppey paid £1/10/0. Visitors’ fees were 1/- a round and 1/6 a day. Sunday play allowed with caddies. The station at Minster-on-Sea via Queensborough was 5 minutes away.

The winner of the spoon competition in September 1913 was Mr E Packham, 94-14-80.
From the Sheerness Times Guardian Saturday 27 December 1913 - "The Minster Golf Links were opened by Mr C C H Wheeler, M,P., on Thursday 25 December 1913."
Sheerness Times Guardian Saturday 11 July 1914 - "Minster Golf Links - In connetion of the extension of the Minster Golf Links to from nine to eighteen-holes, nine new greens have been laid, and work will shortly be commenced in earnest upon the fairways and hazards, so the entire course of 18-holes will be ready for opening at Easter next."
