Walthamstow Golf Club played on the Corporation course at Chingford.
In 1909/10 the secretary was Thomas A Torrance, 201 Devonshire Road, Honor Oak. There was no entry fee and the subs were 10/6. Visitors' fees 1/- a day.
The winner of the club prize in May 1913 G R Spur, 75 net.
The following tied on 1 down in the June 1913 monthly bogey; Mr Cowles, Fielding, Whiting, Hond and Fuller. Winner of the monthly medal was P G Fuller, 74 net.
In 1914 the secretary was Henry Berry, 371 Church Road, Leyton and the professional W Riddell (1910 to 1924). Membership of 50. There was no entry fee. Subs were 10/6. Visitors paid 1/- a round. Season was from September to July.
Result of Mr L Browne's competition played in October 1914; W B Shaw, 81-10-71; R B Tilsbury's prize, A Peacock (15,) 3down. Monthly medal, W B Shaw, 83-10-73.
Winner of the September 1915 bogey was B Fielding (9,) all square.
In 1923 the secretary was V Dawson, 192 Hainault Road, Leytonstone. The professional was W Riddell and the green-keeper D Ness. Membership was now 100. Visitors’ fees were 1/6 a round and 2/- a day. Season from September to June. The station at Chingford was 2 minutes away.
Winner of the monthly medal for September 1923; Rev. R R Williams, 98-20-78.
Winner of the November 1923 monthly bogey was H J Culpin (16,) all square.
In the October 1923 monthly bogey the following tied on 2up; A E Taylor, W R Wilkins and R Hodder.
Winner of the April 1924 monthly medal was J T Veal, 76-5-71.
In 1925/6 the secretary was A E Outridge, “Fernhurst” 46 The Avenue, Chingford, London E4 and the professional P Wynne. The green-keeper was still D Ness. Visitors’ fees were now 1/- a round and £3/3/0 a season.

In 1930 the secretary was still A E Outridge the green-keeper was now J Bannerman. 18-hole public course. Visitors’ fees were 1/6 a day, £3/3/0 for the season.
Walthamstow Golf Club had disappeared by 1935.
