Sheerwater Golf Club, West Byfleet, Surrey. (1905 - WW1)
Founded in 1905.
In 1914 the secretary was P S Shaw, “St Normans”, West Byfleet and the professional W Boylett. 9-holes with a membership of 45 gents and 25 ladies. Entry fees were £3/3/0 and subs £2/2/0. Visitors’ fees on introduction were 6d a day, weekend and Bank Holidays 1/- a day. Sunday play allowed without caddies. The station at Byfleet adjoined the course.
