The Henley House, Frant, Golf Club was the forerunner of the later Shernfold Park Golf Club which came into being in 1908.

Shernfold Park Golf Club was founded 1908. The entrance fee for gents was £1/1/0 and ladies 10/6, subs were gents £1/5/0 and ladies 15/-. A 9-hole course with lots of hazards. It was 1 ½ miles from Frant and 1 mile from Tunbridge Wells.

Results of the Christmas Competitions 1909; Gents’ medal – James Davenport, net 80; T W Bridgford, net 81; bogey – James Davenport. In the ladies’ bogey Mrs Davenport and Miss Lake tied, Miss Lake won the replay.
The March 1910 monthly medal was won by T W Bridgford with a score of 86 net. The Ladies' medal was won by Miss Carrie Lawrence; Runner-up, Miss E King.

During WW1 Shernfold Park was used as a military hospital. The golf course is not recorded after WW1.
