The following message appeared on the club facebook page on 18 March 2020 – “Dear Members
It is with great sadness that we have agreed today that we cannot continue our efforts to keep Killiow open.
All of our projected income sources, green fees, bar, driving range etc, will likely take a significant reduction given the daily news updates.
We would like to thank everyone for all your efforts to keep the club alive, it has been greatly appreciated, but we have been beaten by matters outside of our control.
As a consequence, Killiow Golf Club and Driving Range will be closing its doors for the last time on 31 March.
Kind Regards
Killiow Park Golf Club Committee.

Below are pictures of the course prior to closure.
We would like to thank Paul East who visited the site in October 2020 and sent us the pictures below. Paul also provided the individual hole information.
It would appear that all course perimeters now have electric “fences” installed which means the land will probably be used to graze sheep and/or cattle.
On the above picture the tee shot should go between the tree in the centre and the trees on the right. Fairway continued in a gentle bend to the right.
The small bushes in the centre of the above photo are actually reeds. There is a narrow stream which meanders down the centre of the fairway. It was a tricky hole to play!
Thanks to Paul East who made a further visit to the site on 11 November 2020 and took the pictures below of the former third to sixth holes.
