Brief appearance in the mid 1920s when the secretary was Mrs Mills, The Gables, Honiton. The professional and greenkeeper was W Lilley. A 9-hole course with a membership 100. Visitors’ fees were 2/- a day, 7/6 a week and £1 a month. Sunday play was allowed without caddies. The Station at Honiton was ¾ mile away. A bus service passed the club entrance. Local hotels were the Dolphin and the Angel.
