Lyon’s Gate Golf Club, Dorchester. (1990 - 2004)
Founded 1991, it was sometimes known as Lyon’s Gate Farm Golf Club and was eleven miles north of Dorchester.
The nine hole 18-tee course was designed by Ken Abel and measured 3,834 yards in total with a SSS of 60. Described as being, probably England’s most spectacular 9-hole course with abundant wild flowers and spectacular views.

The club and course closed in about 2004. It was proposed to use the site is as holiday park/farmland.
