Below a report on the opening of the course in January 1906.
It was reported in later January 1906 that the club had a membership of 120.
In September 1906 the club professional, H A Steer, established a new record for the Gripwood course; 4,3,4,5,3,4,4,3,3 = 33. He was playing with Mr G S Pickard.
The autumn handicap was played in September 1906. Ladies competition; first, Mrs Moulton; second, Miss A Beaven. Gentlemen; first, C P Lane; second, G McCall. It was reported that the course was now in much better condition, the greens especially having become very satisfactory.
Below is the result of a match played at Warminster against West Wilts Golf Club in June 1907.
