Arthgarvan Golf Club, County Kildare. (1910 - 1922)

Founded in 1910.

A 9-hole course on the Curragh near Mallick's Hotel. The course was mainly used by locals who could not gain access to the Royal Curragh Club.

Below is a report on the beginning of the Golf Club.

The professional from 1914 was J Petson.

Local advertised hotel was Mallick’s. 

The club disappeared in 1922 when the British Army evacuated the nearby Curragh Camp.

The Google map below shows the location of the former golf course. In 1949 the current Arthgarvan Pitch and Putt Club laid out a course on the site.
