In 1929 the secretary was J McElwainie the professional J Doherty and the green-keeper M McGinley. A 9-hole course with a SSS of 64. Visitors’ fees for gents were 1/6 a day and ladies 1/-. Sunday play was allowed with caddies. Station at Falcarragh was 2 miles away.
In July 1932 Superintendent T Kelly, Letterkenny, beat Hugh A Dunlop on the 18th to win the Falcarragh Golf Cup competition.
From 1932 the secretary was P Brazil, The Nest, Falacarragh the professional was J Doherty the green-keeper was J Speer. Course records were, amateur D Boyle 72 and professional J Doherty 70. Local hotel was the Falcarragh.
In 1940 the secretary was Albert Cunnane, Falcarragh; the treasurer was Eoin Mc Nulty; the professional F Matthews and the green-keeper D Sweeney. The 9-holes had a SSS of 64 and par of 66 and a membership of 34. Course records, amateur D Boyle 72 and professional F Matthews 70.
In January 1942 the pavilion at Drumatinny was completely destroyed by fire. All the contents, including golf clubs belonging to members, were also lost.
Falcarragh Golf Club did not appear after WW2.
