In September 1909 the competition for a prize presented by Messrs. Elvery & Co. took place. There were 38 entries and the competition was won by Vincent McCarthy, 79-20-59, the runner-up P Sheridan, 88-25-63.
From 1912 to the clubs final appearance in the late 1920s the secretary was W L O’Neill, 45 Smithfield, Dublin. Telephone 211. The professional was Thomas Connor. A 9-holes course in beautiful surroundings and close to the sea. Membership of 150. Subs for the first year were £2/10/0, afterwards £2/2/0. Professional record holder was A Adams with a score of 31. Visitors’ fees were 1/- a day, 2/6 a day at weekend. Station at Portmarnock.
The competition for the St. Patrick's Cup was to be played in March 1914.
