Carnbeg Golf Club, Dundalk, County Louth. (1998 - 2006)
Founded 1998.
The 18-hole parkland course was designed by Eddie Hackett and Tom Craddock, the club professional was Joe Frawley. The course made full use of the natural contours and featured deep bunkers creating a challenging and spectacular test of golf, it was in a panoramic setting with the Cooley peninsula providing a stunning backdrop to the course.
Carnbeg was reputed to be Dundalk’s premier pay-as-you-play golf course. It was situated two miles from Dundalk town. Facilities included; fully licensed bar, restaurant and clubhouse facilities, visitors were assured of a warm welcome.

It was reported in June 2005 that a meeting for the members of the disbanded Carnbeg Golf Club was to be held in the Malt House on Wednesday 6 July to discuss the resolution of financial affairs.
